‘Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and Determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan ‘Press On’ has solved and will always solve the problems of the human race.’

--Calvin Coolidge

Both of Calvin Correli’s parents were programmers when there were only five computers in all of Denmark, so it is no surprise that he learned programming early. As an introvert, he took solace in the predictability of computers and went on to study computer science. In May of 2010, he founded Simplero, an all-in-one software solution for coaches, authors and speakers who want to sell courses and content online. Calvin’s SaaS platform does email marketing, automation, billing, landing pages, and even offers a complete website solution.

Beyond Simplero, Calvin pursues music, spirituality and personal development. In his business and personal interests, he sees persistence and consistency as the key to his growth and achievement. Today Calvin explores the cultural differences between his home country of Denmark and his current home in the US, discussing why he appreciates the talkative nature of Americans despite his introversion. He explains how his experience with marketing online courses led to the creation of Simplero and how the platform generates revenue. Calvin speaks to his introverted strengths and weaknesses, sharing how his resistance to reach out presents a challenge, while his discipline to stick with a project for the long haul contributes to his success. Listen in for Calvin’s insight around music, online security and developing a consistent routine.
